Eat real food, walk a lot outside in
nature, lift heavy objects, sprint occasionally, and stretch is
pretty much the mantra of anyone following a paleo/primal lifestyle.
All of those things, with the exception of lifting heavy objects are
possible to do while traveling. With tenacity, even lifting heavy
objects can be attained, although sometimes it is hard to find the
right weight of rock to carry about – or, in fact, any rock to
carry about.
Our first week in Cairns we cycled
about trying out a bunch of local gyms before finally settling on the
cheapest (yes, it is in character) gym that was a reasonable distance
away on the bike (half an hour). Working out with real weights again
has been awesome.
